How do field sales representatives transfer their data?
Sales representatives are very flexible when it comes to transferring data. They can synchronize data that resides on their PDA* when they want and from where they want by selecting one of three data transfer options:
- modem
- GSM (cell phone)
or
- computer (using a conventional Internet browser).
Once the synchronization is finished, the data is recorded on the database server and transferred to the Web server. The transfer takes 2 to 5 minutes.
Thanks to the multi-synchronization system, several users can synchronize data at the same time.

How much memory can I have on a PDA?
Based on the requirements, customers can select PDAs* (Palm OS compatible) with 2 Mb or 8 Mb of memory.

What are the benefits of leasing the @lizés Pro Bundle?
7DistriInfo provides a number of services for the @lizés Pro Bundle from which you can benefit, such as:
- installation of the material and applications

What happens if one of my sales representative's PDA breaks down?
The @lizés Pro offering gives you access to a hotline, which is staffed from 9 AM to 6 PM from Monday to Friday. Today, this service enables us to immediately respond to 90% of our customers' problems.
Should material be defective or should a problem occur that is directly related to the material provided by 7DistriInfo, the customer has two options:
- Manufacturer's guarantee:
All of the material that we provide has a manufacturer's guarantee for 1 year as of the date on which the material was purchased. If the material is defective, the customer must return it to 7DistriInfo's After Sales Service.
We always have sufficient inventory and are able to replace defective or broken numerical assistants immediately. As soon as we receive the defective material, our technician ships a new numerical assistant (configured to your requirements) as quickly as possible.
- Optional guarantee for devices on loan:
Customers can take advantage of an insurance for the duration of their contract that covers the loss, theft or involuntary breakage of PDAs* that are on loan and are used in conjunction with @lizés Pro.
7DistriInfo has taken out an insurance with AIG that 7DistriInfo customers can take advantage of.

I need to know the stock shortages by point of sale at period X. Is that possible?
Yes. It's even one of @lizés' strengths. One of this feature's characteristics is that it can be configured to fulfill the requirements of any company. However, you must configure and implement your application based on the requirements defined in your RFP.
Based on this RFP, we will personalize the content of the 2 modules that constitute the @lizés Pro bundle:
- @lizés Client: This module includes all of the fields that are required to enter data under Palm OS.
- @lizés Viewer: This module enables you to view the results as graphs in real-time on the Internet site www.7infoonline.com (this is a secure site that can only be accessed by our customers). This module enables you to view your stock shortages by point of sale at period X, or perform any other analysis of your sales activities.
